Pie Palooza: A Way For 180 Medical Employees to Raise Money for Adaptive Sports

by kier April 22 2013 16:10

At 180 Medical, we always love a challenge and when it came to raising money for a local adaptive sports event - we got creative. We decided to start the 1st Annual 180 Medical Pie Palooza. The idea was simple, fellow coworkers would donate money into jars of a manager and the two managers with the most money raised would get a pie in the face!

It was a chilly day in Oklahoma but many employees gathered outdoors to watch managers get pie'd! To keep the suspense rolling the manager with the most money in their jar was not announced until the official pie-throwing event. Even though there were two winners, all of the managers who participated ended up getting a pie in the face! They were all great sports and enjoyed helping raise funds and awareness for the wonderful cause.

The 180 Medical group made this fundraiser a smashing success by raising almost $2,500 that goes directly to the Endeavor Games adaptive sports program.
