Lindsay, tell us about the average day of a 180 Medical Inbound Call Representative.
Every day can be a little different. As a Front Desk Inbound Call Representative at 180 Medical, I prioritize taking calls and working directly with our customers. I love getting that opportunity to speak with our customers, but I also enjoy getting to work with the other teams. However, the front desk has a lot of other administrative duties that are “behind the scenes” work, but it’s an enjoyable routine. Duties such as scanning documents like our customer reviews as well as printing and mailing important documents.
Also, I have the privilege of sending out monthly 180 Medical birthday cards to our customers. This may seem simple, but it has shown me how important it is for our customers. I have received countless phone calls that have thanked us for their birthday card and that it has made their entire year. That alone makes my cup full!
How long have you been with 180 Medical now?
I started in late 2020 and I have been an Inbound Call Rep for almost 10 months. It has been the best position for me to get to know the company. I get to work with a lot of different people in various positions, which has given me the opportunity to think about my future in the company. I can’t wait to see what the future holds!
In the past, I’ve had a couple of roles in different small businesses but nothing compares to this. I consider 180 Medical my first corporate job because I am lucky enough to have my own desk and get to work with various teams. Plus, I habitually keep up with our phenomenal Net Promoter Score! I consider this my first career, not just a first job!
What do you love the most about working as an Inbound Call Representative at 180 Medical?
There are lots of reasons why I enjoy my role. Firstly, I work with an incredible team! They make every day successful and everyone is always willing to help each other. But I get a mixture of being able to work directly with the customers as well as working indirectly with them and with coworkers.
I enjoy getting to speak with both in order to help resolve issues. I also get to distribute information through documents to other teams so the customers can receive their supplies on time. It is a great opportunity to start a career here because you have to learn almost every aspect of the company and learn about all kinds of roles and duties. This is such a plus because meeting and coordinating with anyone is always such a pleasure since we have a large company. This is fulfilling because every day is different!
Also, the charity involvements that are promoted throughout the year are amazing! 180 Medical is so engaged with our customer communities.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
One of my favorite traditions is watching the Sooners! My friends, family and I love watching every sport and cheering them on. But after a day of work, I love to spend all of my time with my dog, cook, and watch movies. I also love adventuring OKC! Walking around Scissortail Park here in Oklahoma City is one of my favorite ways to stay active. Lastly, traveling the world and learning about new cultures is one of my passions.
What are you most passionate about?
I have always been passionate about helping people, especially for a career. Being a helpful family member, a helpful friend, or being an essential worker for the community. No matter what it may be, I always enjoy offering a helping hand.
What advice do you have for someone looking to apply for a job at 180 Medical?
I would absolutely recommend someone to work here because we have the best work culture! The best advice I would give to someone is to be yourself! It is a special place to work because everyone is a team player. Therefore, if you are a team player and want to make a difference in someone’s life every day, then 180 is for you!
